"KENDRIYA
VIDYALAYA Dinjan was established in the year 1976 and
was shifted to its permanent structure in 1988 in a sprawling campus of
12 acres in the East of Dinjan The Vidyalaya was started to cater
to the educational needs of the wards of the Army personals. Kendriya
Vidyalaya Dinjan is one of the biggest school among the Vidyalayas in
Silchar region.
The school is up to +2 level having two sections from
class I-VI & VIII-X & three sections in class VII and one
section each in Science & Arts at +2 level offering a good range of
subject combinations .We have a very sound and exemplary track of
producing quality results in AISSE & AISSC Exams conducted by the
CBSE. Every year a good number of our students are selected in Medical,
Engineering and other professional courses in India. The Vidyalaya has
a very good infrastructure for imparting quality education. We have a
well developed computer Lab with INTER-NET facility, a very rich
library having more than 14000 books on all fields and 28 periodicals
regularly subscribed, fully equipped Physics/Chemistry/Bio& Maths
Labs, a very well developed teaching aids room with LCD, Overhead
Projector and all sort of educational CD’s & gadgets
& a well maintained playground
